Westfalia BV is Westfalia’s marketing operation in Holland with facilities close to Rotterdam, the busiest port in the world. Our business is a relatively young business. Started only in 2004, our dedication and consistent performance has enabled us to become market leaders within the last decade.
Rotterdam is the gateway to continental Europe. The logistics available, enable us to supply customers all over Europe and as far afield as Russia – direct from the farm to the customer. Our organisation in Holland is commercially agile with access to customers all over Europe.
Our Business
We supply most European retailers as well as various service providers, wholesalers and other exporters and are market leaders in the supply of avocado and mango. We also manage ginger, citrus, papayas, pineapple and prickly pears.
We can ripen and deliver all packaging formats: nets, flo-wrap, loose etc. What’s more, because of our expertise and excellence in market intelligence, we pride ourselves in having the best product available at all times. We regularly travel the world to see our growers and partners. These trips ensure that we keep up to date with the very latest trends.
